4. Tell about a time when there was a communication gap between you and another person. What did you do to bridge the gap? What was the outcome?

Essential Job Functions of a Vocational Trainer:
- Train, supervise, and/or assist individuals with disabilities on jobs and in community settings of their choice.
- Provide support services (i.e. assistance with personal care, social skills training, behavior support, and/or travel training) consistent with identified program needs and consumer desires.
- Document client services and maintain data on client progress, behavior, support, ISP goals, medical concerns, satisfaction, etc.
- Assist with the development, design, implementation, and evaluation of Individual Service Plans.
- Maintain ongoing communication with client employers, coworkers, families, and other support personnel.
- Attend relevant meetings and trainings, and maintain appropriate certifications (i.e. First Aid, CPR, OIS)
